Flight attendant shows why your answer is very important when they say ‘hello’ as you get on plane

While it’s not unheard of for travelers to down a few pints at the airport bar before flying, consuming excessive amounts of alcohol may result in your expulsion from the aircraft.
Iona Iachim, a flight attendant with Wizz Air, recently addressed the issue on TikTok, saying that in addition to being kind, the greeting on board included a “to check whether or not you are too drunk or sick to fly.”
A fellow flight attendant who works for the low-cost airline in Hungary supported these statements.
“Did you know that your flight attendant greets you not only out of politeness?” the cabin crew member captioned a video of Rania making an in-flight statement.

A few moments of suspense were followed by Rania’s announcement that their welcome is ‘to check whether you are too intoxicated or unwell to travel’.
In accordance with industry norms, flight attendants search for “able-bodied passengers” (ABPs) who may be able to provide aid in “evacuating the aircraft.”
That’s right, unlike what some users on TikTok have expressed disappointment about, the flight attendant does not find you attractive and does not want to take you out on a date just because they said “hello.”
“I always assumed it was my amazing personality and breathtakingly wonderful beauty. I’m heartbroken right now,” someone commented.
While a second added: “I came home from Vegas drunk with my cousins and I was so shocked they even allowed us on the plane.”
In addition to greeting passengers, flight attendants also watch out for the opposite when assigning certain passengers to an exit row.
It is doubtful that those with physical or mental problems, children, or the elderly will be housed here because they could make evacuation more difficult.
