However, the “Just Like A Pill” singer entertained audiences at the Accor Stadium in Sydney’s Olympic Park during one contentious performance.
But when a couple asked if they could bring their newborn to the concert, they encountered some unforeseen difficulties.
The couple had bought their tickets in the beginning of 2023, but in the interim, they had welcomed a new member of the family.
Instead of worrying about childcare, the couple chose to just enjoy the pop hits with their infant.
The family made the decision to get in touch with the stadium to confirm their luggage allotment.
According to 7News, the man wrote, “Can you tell me whether we will be allowed to bring a nappy bag?” “And just to make sure she won’t need a ticket?”
The Pink fan did not anticipate the response, though.
The stadium retaliated, saying that “bringing a diaper bag is not an issue, but all attendees, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter.”
In response, the man said that the stadium was already full and that the infant was not going to be able to fit in their designated seat.
However, the stadium reiterated its stance, saying, “The promoter’s age policy set for this show.”
“We found it disgraceful that a baby had to purchase a ticket when they were going to be in a baby carrier or on my sister’s chest,” the guy said in response to Accor’s statement to 7News.
But as soon as Accor’s story gained traction, it shifted course.
In fact, they offered the fans parking closer to the stadium entrance and waived the baby’s ticket money.
